Raw Papaya Salad is a spicy salad made with grated raw green papaya.This salad belongs to specifically Thai Cuisine. Raw papaya salad combines the five main tastes, sour lime, hot chili, salty, garlic and sweetness of brown sugar.The ingredients are first crushed in mortar and then mixed with grated papaya.
Raw Papaya Salad is a perfect example of `simple and delicious`food. Peanuts are the key ingredient of this dish, it gives a nutty flavour and crunchiness to the salad which make it awesome.Raw papaya is rich in calcium, vitamin A and C which make this salad, a real health booster.Tomatoes,green coriander and pomegranate seeds gives colour and royalness to the dish.
So, Let’s Start Now
1.First in a blender or mortar, crush garlic, green chili, mint leaves,brown sugar and some salt into a paste.
2.Now add grated raw papaya to a mixing bowl, add tomato julian’s, crushed paste, salt, coriander chopped,roasted crushed peanuts, pomegranate seeds and lime juice.
3.Mix all the ingredients very well.
4.Garnish with fresh coriander and pomegranate seeds and serve.

Tip:- If raw papaya is unavailable, use an equivalent amount of shredded cabbage and carrots.
