Mango Sandesh is quick and delicious recipe perfect for any occasion. Mangoes,the king of fruits and main attraction for summers, it’s sweet and sour taste with juice make it best among other fruits.Mango Sandesh can be prepared in few minutes with homemade chenna(soft form of paneer)
The traditional Sandesh is belong to Bengali Cuisine and commonly made with plain chenna,powdered sugar,cardamom powder and pistachios.But I give some twist to the recipe, I use fresh mango slice and layered it with chenna cardamom mixture and garnish with almond,pistachios slices.You can also try this with your favourite fruits like kiwi,pineapple,strawberry and banana etc.This sweet is so light and low in calorie that you can relish it when you are on diet.Just replace sugar powder with any sugar free powder or avoid it.Sweetness of mango is enough,it completely satisfy your sweet carving and taste buds.

Ripe Mangoes – 2
Homemade Paneer(Chenna) – 1 cup
Powdered Sugar – 2 tbsp
Milk Powder – 2 tbsp
Cardamom Powder – ¼ tsp
Mango Essence – 2-3 drops
Saffron Strands – Few
Pistachios slices-1 tbsp
Almonds slices – 2 tbsp
1.In a bowl take chenna, powdered sugar, milk powder, cardamom powder and mango essence, mix well.
2.Mash it using your hands and make a smooth dough, divide it into equal parts.
3.Peel the mangoes and cut them into thin slices, fill the mango slices with chenna mixture.
4.Sprinkle cardamom powder on mango slices.
5.Garnish mango slices with chopped almond and pistachios slices.
6.Now garnish with saffron strands.
7.Keep it in the fridge to set, serve chilled.
8.Enjoy mango sandesh easy light and yummy sweet.
